SUMMARY:Workshop: Contracting 101 for Small Business
DESCRIPTION:The focus will be on Veteran-Owned Businesses but Non-Veteran Businesses are encouraged to attend. Attendees will learn about the various business designations and set-aside programs such as the 8(a) Program\, HubZone\, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)\, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) just to name a few. The registration sites required in order to do business with the Federal Government such as the System for Award Management (SAM) site\, SBA's Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) site and the Dept. of Veterans Affairs VetBiz site.
