The San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SJCHCC) will host its 23rd Annual Latina Business Conference, NextGen Futures: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Wine & Roses Hotel Restaurant & Spa in Lodi, California.
This year’s conference will feature a special appearance by Rico Colindres, known for his “Carmen Calls” radio segments heard locally on KWIN 97.7 FM and syndicated on radio stations across the country. Colindres has built a strong national following through his high-energy storytelling, humor, and ability to connect with audiences coast to coast.
Also appearing at this year’s conference is Deputy Chief of Police Anabel Morris of the Stockton Police Department, who made history as the first Latina Deputy Chief in the department’s history. With more than two decades of service in law enforcement, her work continues to strengthen public safety, mentorship, and community trust throughout Stockton and San Joaquin County.
The Latina Business Conference is one of the region’s most influential gatherings, celebrating Latina leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact throughout San Joaquin County and the Central Valley. Angel Sepulveda, Chairwoman of the Board for the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, shared, “The Latina Business Conference continues to be a powerful space where leadership grows, and future generations of entrepreneurs are inspired. We are proud to bring our community together to celebrate Latina leadership and invest in the leaders of tomorrow.”
Free Community Expo & Workshops
The morning portion of the conference will feature the Free Community Expo from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where attendees can connect with small businesses, artisans, and community organizations while participating in interactive workshops focused on entrepreneurship, technology, leadership, financial growth, and holistic well-being.
Each workshop will be offered twice to allow participants the opportunity to attend multiple sessions.

The Expo will also feature a special Latina Fashion Showcase presented by Jennifer and Co., highlighting a vibrant display of gowns and quinceañera dresses celebrating elegance, culture, tradition, and the artistry of Latina fashion.
Luncheon Program
The Luncheon Program begins at 12:00 PM, with check-in starting at 11:30 AM.
During the luncheon, the City of Lodi will present Entrepreneur Scholarships supporting San Joaquin County entrepreneurs, recognizing the importance of investing in local small business leaders and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.
NextGen Futures: Generations Leadership Panel
A highlight of the luncheon program will be the NextGen Futures Generations Leadership Panel, moderated by Alan Sanchez, founder of The People’s Media Relations and former on-air talent with Good Day Sacramento.

Faith Gomez – Generation Alpha / Generation Z
Faith Gomez is a 15-year-old USA Boxing National Champion and Stockton Youth Athlete & Rising Boxing Star. She attends Stockton Early College Academy and maintains a 4.0 GPA while competing nationally as an amateur boxer. She has won three national tournaments and is ranked the number one girl in the country in her division and weight class.
Aranza Mora – Millennial Generation
Aranza Mora serves as Regional Weather Anchor for Univision Sacramento Channel 19 and Univision Fresno Channel 21. A seven-time Emmy Award–winning bilingual meteorologist, she was recognized as Best Weather Anchor in both 2024 and 2025.
Mireya Alvarado – Generation X
Mireya Alvarado is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Stockton community leader, and Project Manager with Visionary Home Builders of California, where she helps lead initiatives that create affordable housing and strengthen neighborhoods throughout San Joaquin County.
Janet Rivera – Baby Boomer Generation
Janet Rivera serves as a Trustee for the San Joaquin Delta Community College District representing Area 3 and is the longest-serving trustee in Delta College history, first elected in 1994. A longtime advocate for higher education and student success, Rivera is currently serving her final term on the Board of Trustees.
Media in Attendance
Guests will also enjoy a special cultural performance by Mariachi Tierra Jalisciense, bringing the vibrant sound and tradition of mariachi music to the conference.
