San Joaquin Delta College’s Fashion and Interior Design Program will be holding its annual “Design on Display Exhibit” on Thursday, May 2nd 2019 from 9 am to 2 pm at its Stockton campus in Danner Hall. This event is presented by Fashion and Interior Design students. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will feature student projects from fashion design, fashion illustration, marketing, retailing, textile design, visual merchandising, residential interior design to commercial interior design. There will also be live demonstrations including textile weaving, 3D Interior Design, and fashion illustration & sketching, showing what skills students in the program acquire in their classes. See how fabric is made, how those HGTV designers showcase their 3D designs, and watch someone sketching live designs! Also include in the event is an eco-friendly design challenge. The students will be showing their amazing talents in upcycling, recycling, and repurposing in their original projects. The public will vote on their favorite eco design and the student with the most votes will win a surprise eco-friendly prize. Come by an enjoy the creative works of the skilled Fashion and Interior Design students and learn more about the Fashion and Interior Design Programs offered at Delta College.
