Friends of Chamber Music Presents: Ensemble Schumann

Oboe, Viola, and Piano Trio, Ensemble Schumann, will be performing at University of the Pacific as a part of the Stockton Friends of Chamber Music?s 2015-?16 season. The trio has been performing around the United States since its formation in 2005 and emphasizes the performance of works by Robert Schumann, their namesake, as well as works by a variety of composers from the Classical to Modern eras. Ensemble Schumann is made up of oboist Thomas Gallant, violist Steve Larson, and pianist Sally Pinkas. Ensemble Schumann will perform works by Schumann, Mozart, Heinrich Von Herzogenberg, Max Bruch, and Michael White. At 7:30 PM that day, Ensemble Schumann's pianist, Sally Pinkas, will be giving a masterclass to Conservatory of Music students in University of the Pacific's Recital Hall (3515 Pacific Circle).
