Pacific Western Concert Band Festival

Since 2004, the Pacific Bands have put on the Pacific Western Concert Band Festival in April. This event gives a number of participating and observing high school bands from California and the Pacific Northwest learning and playing opportunities. Over the course the festival, participating bands will perform, be cliniced by the festival?s adjudicators, and learn about different fields of music present for study at the Conservatory. The event ends with a concert by the Symphonic Wind Ensemble attended by the visiting bands and open to the community. Symphonic Wind Ensemble at PacWest: University of the Pacific?s Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents their final concert of Spring 2016 as the featured performers for the Pacific Western Concert Band Festival. The concert will feature Pacific alumna Jean Gould ?78 (Clarinet Performance) playing A Klezmer Tribute.
