Red Ribbon is a national program that takes place annually in memory of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena & to promote an alcohol, tobacco, & drug-free message throughout San Joaquin County. SJC Prevention Services provides local support to school districts who celebrate Red Ribbon by providing countywide drug-free activities on their school campuses (i.e. door decorating contests, poster contests, dress up days, rallies, assemblies, etc.). SJCPS can provide support in various forms, such as guest speakers for assemblies, or booths at school health fairs. This year, Red Ribbon Week will kick off on October 23rd & will continue to October 31.
