The Stockton-Pacific clinic has officially reopened and it has a new Clinic Director! Meet Evelyn Delgado, PT, DPT.
Evelyn was born and raised in Stockton, California. She holds great pride in her hometown and is passionate about giving back to her community. She actively serves as a mentor and educator for students in the Stockton Clinic as an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor.
Her passion for athletics began at an early age. She competed in soccer for over 10 years, which introduced her to physical therapy and sports medicine. Her early experiences influenced her to pursue clinical affiliations in Orthopedics and Pediatrics. Evelyn is passionate about maximizing the quality of life and accessibility of PT services to the Latino community.
She attended the University of the Pacific, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health, Exercise, & Sport Science in 2018. She then continued her education at the University of the Pacific and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.
Professionally, Evelyn plans to pursue a Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Outside of her professional role, Evelyn enjoys hiking, playing sports, and spending quality time with her family.
