Featuring nearly 100 artists on stage, the Stockton Symphony presents A Midsummer Night?s Dream. In a lively performance, semi-staged excerpts from Shakespeare?s play join Mendelssohn?s remarkable A Midsummer Night?s Dream, op. 21 & 61 in an evening of drama and wit. The symphony will be joined onstage by actors from University of the Pacific?s Conservatory of Music under the direction of Professor James Haffner, and by the Oriana Women?s Choir directed by Jenny Wong. The evening features Professor Nicolasa Kuster, bassoon, performing Peter Schickele?s Bassoon Concerto.
