In their final performance of Spring 2016, the University Symphony Orchestra is performing Beethoven?s Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Jean Sibelius? Nightride, Tchaikovsky?s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, and Debussy?s Rhapsody for Saxophone featuring David Henderson. About the University Symphony Orchestra The University Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Nicolas Waldvogel, is the major ensemble for Conservatory string-players and an audition-only group for wind, brass, and percussion students that is open to all majors. They perform a wide range of music from early orchestral works to contemporary pieces.
