City Business License Office Location and Hours of Service Changes

New Hours in 2022 for Utility Billing & Payment Office

 

STOCKTON, Calif. – When you need to renew, apply for, or pay fees for your City of Stockton business license, you can now visit the City’s Permit Center. The business licensing function has moved across the street from City Hall, and effective Wednesday, December 15, counter services will open at the Permit Center with following hours of service:

  • Permit Center, 345 N. El Dorado St.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Closed every other Friday
  • Open 8:00 a.m. – noon on the first open Friday of each month

Change of Hours for Utility Billing and Payment Office

Beginning January 3, 2022, the utility billing and payment office located at City Hall, 425 N. El Dorado St., will be coordinating hours with the Business License and Permit Center operations. Customers paying utility bills and other invoices with the City of Stockton will be able to make payments in-person:

  • City Hall, 425 N. El Dorado St., 1st floor
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Closed every other Friday
  • Open 8:00 a.m. – noon on the first open Friday of each month
